EOGS are May 11th, so it’s getting pretty close. Here are some tips for taking the EOGs. Start studying when May starts. It’s better to start studying two weeks before rather than twenty-four hours before the EOGs. Eat an actual breakfast. Don’t eat a breakfast made of half a bowl of cereal.

During the testing use the following tips:

1. Focus on one question at a time. If you focus on over 9000 questions at a time you won’t get anything done.

2. Read questions carefully. Questions might say choose the answer that is false instead of true.

3. Choose answers that make sense, or the best answer. If the question is 1+1, use your common sense and not choose 3. And if one answer is better than another, choose the better one.

4. Check over your scantron. A common mistake is where people misbubble. Check every five or so answers to make sure you didn’t misbubble.

5. Don’t worry about everyone else in the class. Everyone works at different paces. Erase any stray marks from your scantron sheet. If you have more than one mark on your scantron, the machine will count your answer as wrong.

6. And do your best.
